Kindness Counts Hub is a youth‑led movement founded by Alexis Perovic, a passionate youth advocate and Junior Miss Galaxy Australia teen. Alexis believes that kindness might seem like a small thing, but it's one of the most powerful forces that we have. When people choose kindness, no matter their age, background or experience they have the power to make a positive difference.
At its heart, Kindness Counts Hub exists to inspire everyday acts of kindness, compassion and connection in our community. We believe that kindness isn’t just a moment; it’s a mindset. A way of showing up for others. A way of building communities where everyone feels valued, included and safe.

Kindness isn’t just something we do, it’s something that transforms communities, strengthens connection, and inspires young people to lead with courage and compassion. Our mission is grounded in the understanding that every child has rights which include the right to an education, the right to health and hygiene, and the right to feel safe and protected. These rights are essential to a child’s wellbeing, dignity, and future. Through our advocacy and partnerships, we work to uplift these rights and ensure that young people everywhere have the opportunity to thrive.

We work with schools, community groups and charity organisations across Australia to champion kindness‑driven initiatives that uplift, include and inspire. Through youth‑led projects, workshops, charity drives and everyday acts of compassion, we’re building a movement where kindness becomes a way of life. We are proud to partner with dedicated charity organisations across Australia, working together to build a more inclusive, connected, and compassionate community for everyone.

Kindness Counts Hub was founded by Alexis, a 14‑year‑old youth advocate who believes wholeheartedly in the power of kindness to spark real, lasting change. What started as one young person’s vision has grown into a national movement that empowers young Australians to create more inclusive, connected, and compassionate communities.
Alexis launched Kindness Counts Hub with a simple but powerful idea: kindness is a choice available to everyone, and when young people choose it, they help shape a better future. We are driven by the belief that every young person’s voice, actions, and compassion matter.
Guided by this belief, we partner with organisations across Australia to help build communities where young people feel valued, supported, and empowered. Our work is grounded in the understanding that every child has fundamental rights — including the right to an education, the right to health and hygiene, and the right to feel safe and protected. These rights are essential to the wellbeing, dignity, and future of children everywhere.
Through our partnerships with charity groups that champion these rights, we strive to uphold the principles of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. We believe every young person deserves the opportunity to learn, to grow in a healthy environment, and to feel secure in their community.
